EJ&E Heritage And A Few Others - Lake Erie Land

Another cloudy and gloomy one today and a few light flurries in the air this afternoon.
Just too darn gloomy to bother with much, but got lucky with the CN's EJ&E Heritage unit.

1. NS 3662, UP 8151 and NS 8027 westbound on the 21Q at Coen Road on the ex NYC Chicago Line.

2. Next up is the 25V with NS 4430 and 8167.

3. Take a look at the trailing unit on the 25V, reverse number boards. I guess if that is common, it is the first time I've noted it. In the distance is the approaching 10N.

4. And now we see the 10N approach after the passage of 25V with NS 4433 as the sole power.

5. Over at the Coen Road crossing on the parallel NKP line comes the 10Q with NS 9815, 4287, CN EJ&E Heritage 3023, and NS 9709. After going over the crossing they will make a left hand turn and go onto the connector to the Chicago line for the run to Cleveland and then down the C&P for Conway Yard - Pittsburgh.

6. Its a distance shot but here is a closer look at the EJ&E unit ET44AC # 3023 as it comes over the connector to the Chicago Line.

Most of the NS ES44ACs were delivered with black number boards with white lettering but it was quickly changed out on most units... Some stragglers, though, still have the original black boards...
