Quick chase of the NCVA on 12/23
Author: Asheville_G

Two days before Christmas I found myself in very familiar territory, close to where I grew up on the way back to Asheville, NC.  Knowing the usual schedule for NCVA, I took a quick detour in hopes of finding the Nucor train heading back towards Ahoskie.  While talking to fellow TO member "ShortlinesUSA" I ran across the train near Milwaukee, NC and gave a quick chase back to Rich Square, managing a few solid photos.

NCVA #504 at Conway, NC (drone)

NCVA #504 at Woodland,NC

NCVA #504 at Rich Square, NC (drone).

Thanks for looking

Grady nice set of photos. Just curious is #504 an ex FEC engine? It sure does look like it. FEC 504 was a GP38-2 built in 1977.
Thanks Robert a former FEC employee now retired in Lagrande Oregon.

For those that don't know and may be in the area in the coming weeks, can you share the usual schedule with us?

Thanks.
