Looks rather collision-y to me. It's obviously out at AV. Does CSX use remotes for the west end pull-down jobs?

Agree, happened on the lead and LOOKS LIKE SD40's ran into side of train on lead?

That's why I asked if CSX uses remotes in that part of the yard, but I didn't want to make that assumption. The lead locomotive does appear to have the remote beacons on it.

Avon (Big Four) yard is 15 miles west of downtown Indianapolis.

So, three trains involved? The yard job (SD-40-2's), the train on the lead (with the autoracks), and the container train to the side?

I believe the autoracks and containers were in the same train, but if somebody else knows better....

The containers were on a completely different track, and next to the autoracks.
