Eastern Railroad Discussion > CN-Champaign, IL Yard Obstruction

The State of Illinois replaced the eastbound bridge on I-74 over the CN yard last year and now they are replacing the westbound bridge. I took this 4/27 as they were lowering the beams off the bridge to haul away. I am sure this made operating the yard into an interesting problem. This is on the south side of the yard about half a mile from the south end of the yard, They moved them out of the way and cut them down so trucks could haul them away..
