In Barre MA with the Mass Central today 10/6/22
Author: bob01566

After four days of rain and fog thanks to the remnants of Ian, we had beautiful warm early Fall weather today so I chased the Massachusetts Central up to South Barre.
The landscape in South Barre sure has changed since the mill complex was torn down last year - many new views have opened up.

#1 - MCER 1750 and 1751 cross Rte 32 in Barre Plains MA with two boxcars for South Barre.

#2 - Mass Central works in South Barre, in a view that was impossible to get before the old mill complex was demolished.

#3 - With bright Fall color in the background, Mass Central carries out switching duties for their customers in South Barre MA.

Great photos!  I had no idea they had a B&M 'Bluebird' inspired paint scheme.
