CN Bessimer Sub?
Author: globalethanol

I'm just wondering if the southbound ore train runs south on Saturday's and what time do they get out of Conneaut? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanx, Tom

Tom,

The current pattern that has been in place the past couple years is for empties to leave Greenville between 4-5 PM arriving Conneaut about 2 hours later. The road crew loads the train on arrival on the loop track, so everything happening at Conneaut is an after dark operation this time of year. This crew arrives back around Greenville around midnight, usually tying down on the mainline at Kremis.

In the morning, a recrew takes the train south and is usually out out Kremis between 645-700. They make a turn to North Bessemer and back. They are usually to North Bessemer by about 930, turning with empties and getting back to Greenville after lunch for the whole cycle to repeat again. This happens *most* but not every day. Occasionally there wont be loads to run or vice versa with empties, just enough to keep you guessing.

But pretty much the south end has most of the daylight action.
