Are there any up-dates in the N-S Heritage Units that are tied down at Altoona?

I’m surprised nobody is slobbering foam that they need to go to a museum somewhere.

Which ones are dead at Altoona? Inquiring minds want to know.😊

Which ones? I haven’t seen anything on any of the groups I belong to.

Interesting how many SD70Ace heritage units are sidelined.

They are 10 years old with some pretty high mileage.

Absolutely.  But, four out of the ten EMD heritage units strikes me as a high %.

They were all part of the same order. Not unusual at all. Same age, similar miles.

Any thoughts on colors when they are out-shopped?

As long as the green and yellow one is still running, all is well.

Three possible options.....Black and white just like the rest of the fleet, Refreshed heritage paint to match the schemes they were wearing when they arrived at Altoona, or lime green with purple polkadots applied judiciously.  Pick the two you think are the most likely :)

Firing a good portion of the people at Juniata, no wonder it takes so long for things to be worked on at the shops. Plus so many wrecked units as well. I think there are at least 6 wrecked units waiting to be worked on here at well.
