Eastern Railroad Discussion > "Train Time" - Windsor, CTDate: 12/01/22 05:57 "Train Time" - Windsor, CT Author: cinder Southbound Amtrak Regional from Greenfield, MA arrives at the historic Windsor, CT depot at 7:30 am, the day before Thanksgiving. Note the short high platform that barely accomodates the two-car consist. Also note the "Heritage" engine and sequential crossing gates.

Serously, I found it interesting. And the beautiful depot didn't hurt either. /Ted Date: 12/01/22 13:40 Re: "Train Time" - Windsor, CT Author: goneon66 are 2 cars the usual consist for this train?

Date: 12/01/22 18:57 Re: "Train Time" - Windsor, CT Author: cinder The two-car consist is probably normal. The "sequencing gates" are timed so as not to trap cars in the crossing.
