Time for some Christmas trains.

1. Wilmington & Western SW1-8408 is crossing Red Clay Creek as it arrives in Ashland, DE with W&W's Santa Claus Express at 1:10PM on 11-26-22. 8408 was built in August of 1940 as Baltimore & Ohio 208.
2. Wilmington & Western's Santa Claus Express, with W&W "Cabeese" C-149, C-2023 & C-2042 leading, is passing a pond at Little Brook Drive in Wilmington, DE at 1:35PM on 11-26-22.
3. West Chester Railway GP9-6499 is pushing on the rear of WCRL's Santa Express at 3:25PM on 11-26-22 in Cheyney, PA. 6499 was built in October of 1956 as Baltimore & Ohio 6499.

82-year-old B&O 8408 still at work, and looking splendid, is wonderful to behold.  I am curious, however, what those wirey-looking contraptions are on the truck sideframes.

Cannot forget track cars decorated for the holidays! Scene is Berwick, PA as part of a Toys for Tots excursion in November 19th.
