NYC Heritage Unit #1066 made another appearance on grain train #40Z. I was able to shoot the train leaving Meridian, MS in two spots about 2 miles apart from each other. 

Shot 1: leaving the yard by the airport entering the main line.
Shot 2: South of town by one of the swaps just below the airport. 

We get a lot of these trains during the winter. Sometimes 3-4 per week depending on the demand. The one thing I enjoy about these, other than the fact that all of them have neat motive power, is the company hoppers. All of these that I've shot in the last few years have a solid train of NS grain hoppers. Kinda neat.
