Eastern Railroad Discussion > Another One on the Plate - Train 316 Lorain OHDate: 01/19/23 13:30 Another One on the Plate - Train 316 Lorain OH Author: train1275 Thursday January 19, 2023
Very cloudy in the morning and then some sun and blue sky this afternoon Temps in the mid-50's Heard the 316 on the scanner coming east on the NKP and intercepted him at Beaver Park Marina on the west side of Lorain as he curved around Lake Erie frontage and over Beaver Creek. Power was NS 7579 and UP 6270. While waiting was checking out the web stampings on the rail. 132RE Bethlehem Lackawanna Mill rolled in March 1977 and control cooled. It has no doubt felt the weight of many trains. Edited 1 time(s). Spent time at the now gone B&O crossing too. Thanks for the current views of Lorain.
