1) At 21st. Bridge RD, MD ... U158-25 comes west out of Cumberland, MD light engine move. The job was called to take scrap wagons from Keyser, WV to be loaded at the demolition site in Beryl, WV. A 4 axle locomotive is required due to a restriction on non-steerable truck 6 axle units on the Thomas Sub. 2) and 3) U158 at the Main Street crossing in Keyser, WV. Due to loading issues with the locomotive, no cars were spotted today. .... The emptyman is waiting for the plant at Keyser to clear so they can split their train into two separate trains for the trip over the mountains to Grafton, WV
2) While not a photo of a Std Cab locomotive..... Rear of W001-25 passing the DP units in the middle of the empty hopper train. It appears in an entry in a diary kept by a Union soldier stationed there during the Civil War, detailed to guard the B&O west of Cumberland against Captain James McNeill's Confederate partisan rangers.
