Eastern Railroad Discussion > NS 22H detours via CSX at North East PA

NS Harrisburg-bound intermodal 22H as captured off the North East live cam operating as CSX X900 at 0430 Sunday 2/5/23. Apparnetly this train is to run CSX across upstate NY and down the West Shore to New Jersey and then back track to Harrisburg on NS.

Additionally, I've seen three unknown to me eastbound NS priority single stacked/TOFC intermodals pass the Elkhart live cam overnight that presumably permit routing around the wreck site via the low clearance Cleveland line between Alliance OH and Rochester PA.

And here is X900/22H 155 miles and a bit less than 4 hours later passing the Fairport NY live cam on CSX at 0813 Sunday 2/5/23,

Thanks for the details.

It would have been a great treat to see these trains detour over the old Bessemer & Lake Erie or down through Renovo to Harrisburg.
