Eastern Railroad Discussion > CSX reaches agreement on paid sick leave with 8th unionDate: 03/22/23 20:39 CSX reaches agreement on paid sick leave with 8th union Author: Lackawanna484 CSX today announced that it has reached an agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) to provide paid sick leave to employees.
Mr Hinrichs says this is solid proof of CSX's intent to imrpove dialogue and relationships with the employees of CSX. About 46% of CSX employees now have paid sick leave. It's not clear whether they all have the same plan, or whether there are different versions Date: 03/23/23 05:16 Re: CSX reaches agreement on paid sick leave with 8th union Author: engineerinvirginia Lackawanna484 Wrote:

The repective plans would be similar. And what is guaranteed....T&E will go NO paid sick days. The best we could possibly do is to get rid of attendance rules so we could be sick when we are sick and not at the railroad's convenience. |
