Eastern Railroad Discussion > Get The Youngsters off the TrackDate: 05/18/23 13:09 Get The Youngsters off the Track Author: PCCRNSEngr Yesterday May 17, 2023 after catching DL 190 the PA at Gang Mills caught up with the NS H-16 in Horseheads, NY after it had completed their work at Southern Tier Logistics Park, to the old timers it was the Holding Point. This located at the north end of the Horseheads Industrial Track what remains of the former Pennsy Elmira Branch known for its coal train to Sodus Point being haul by I1s.
Moments before the crew changes end to proceed south a pair of Canada Geese herd their young ones across the track. H-16 power for today was Pan Am C40-8 7605 and 7542 running off hours owed to NS.
