The Electric City never disappoints (PA 190, DL)

Made a trip over to Scranton, Pennsylvania to get a peek at Delaware Lackawanna 190, their newly acquired Alco Pa. It's safely tucked away in the Steamtown National Historical Site until mid June. She's a beauty, that's for sure ! The regular freight operations on the DL are always cool with their fleet of various Alco and MLW models, and I was lucky enough to catch the last operational Alco C636 leading trains a couple of times. 

DL 190 at the roundhouse 05-22-2023.
DL M420 #2045 and C425 #2423 at Bridge 60 in Scranton with C636 #3642 behind 05-23-2023.
An extra DL PO75 showed up right after I arrived in Scranton on Sunday, 05-21-2023, with a set of four six motor Alcos/MLWs. C636 #3642 was leading.

DL MLW M630 #3000 plus 3 at Scranton 05-22.
Did the chase of PO74 up the mountain on 05-23, C636 lead this job as well, seen here at Elmhurst Township between Scranton and Moscow, Pa.

PO74 crossing Pocono Summit Lake in Pocono Summit, Pa.
Pulling up to set off the cut of grain on the Ardent Mills siding.

I did take a DL break and nabbed a late day Reading and Northern train (Reading FF ?) in Duryea, Pa on 05-22.
