Eastern Railroad Discussion > Corman's Bardstown Dinner trainDate: 05/27/23 21:17 Corman's Bardstown Dinner train Author: srman In an earlier thread Mike Derrick had inquired about the Bardstown Ky. Dinner Train not using the FP7's. Well Bardstown Ky. is about 35 miles from were I live so I took a drive today to check out the situation. When I arrived they had just returned from an earlier trip. No FP7's. Power for the train was 50th anniversary edition painted GP38-2 5580 ex. Southern 2725 and GP15-1 1560 former CSX and before that Conrail. I hung around town to the next trip which was 5PM. While there at Bardstown I asked an employee where the FP7's where? Across the street in the shed getting serviced and new wheel sets. No plan as to when they might be back and for the for seeable future the current power would be used for the dinner train. Three images attached. Getting ready for the 5PM trip, departing town and finally at Deatsville Kentucky. Unfortunately I couldn't do much of the cloud that got in the way. Thanks for looking.

I'd say those look better on the dinner trains than the F units, but I don't like having rocks and bottles thrown at me. Uhhh, whoops...I think I just said it!
Mike Derrick Posted from Android Date: 05/28/23 18:15 Re: Corman's Bardstown Dinner train Author: randyr I’m trying to choke you with the Force through the internet due to your F unit comments. But I agree, the train looks good with the different locos. I like the Fs and anything else RJ Corman puts out there. Thanks for the great pics. I’ve seen it a few times with the Fs. But I wouldn’t mind seeing this version.
