Second time in two weeks that a CSX train on the street running section has hit a car double parked inside the lined danger space.

Loud crunch. Person removed by ambulance.

About the same location as the last one, near the beginning of street running.

Actually, the person in the car turned right into the street with the train plainly in sight moving towards them.  It looked as though they were trying to continue next to the train and was actually moving in the opposit direction when the slow speed impact occurred.  This was plainly the fault of the driver of the car in violation of the clear zone but more than that, just a really dumb move.

Yup-plenty of time to flip a U turn.
