Eastern Railroad Discussion > City of Madison Indiana GP10Date: 09/18/23 19:44 City of Madison Indiana GP10 Author: srman Took a drive up to North Vernon Indiana this afternoon to check out their GP10 3634 in its new PRR inspired paint. The CMPA or City of Madison Port Authority interchanges with CSX there where it also serves several industies in the area along with storing cars. I found the unit but it never moved. Clouds were playing with me but since the sun hadn't shifted enough I took advantage of one allowing me for a side shot. It's relatively close to me so I'll be back another day for a try again.

They actually were reworked with a grant, and looked good enough to use, but it was for display only. My grandson and I clombed it a couple times, locals used it for a path up and down the hill. Basically, it was part of a trail. No The other units, the ones they got from Crane, are done in excellent paint jobs too. Bob Date: 09/19/23 05:43 Re: City of Madison Indiana GP10 Author: swaool I like that paint job! This should be ex-PNCX 3634, exx-SP 3634, nee-SP 5793. Presumably it was Precision who chopped the nose, added the ox-yoke air filters and removed the dynamic brakes.
