Eastern Railroad Discussion > Cresson TwilightDate: 09/25/23 04:30 Cresson Twilight Author: JUTower As many of you know, my wife and I purchased the Station Inn B&B last year from the Davis family after Tom's passing. While we still live in Pittsburgh I am often up for the weekend taking care of various chores, projects, meetings, and whatnot. This weekend, the ladies were at a "girls weekend" (including our innkeeper aunt Pat) and so I was on B&B innkeeper duty for the weekend. While the weather was mostly garbage, I did get the new drone out at bit Friday night to get a look at a westbound intermodal train. Not sure of the symbol on this, here is a "coming" and a "going" view taken with the DJI Mini 3 Pro at ISO 6400, 1/6 sec exposure, with noise reduction in Photoshop 2024. I'd say this is really pushing the limit of what the drone can do but I was quite pleased with the results.

Interesting to see the lights are still on in the former helper terminal, although it looks a bit desolate. Time marches on... Date: 09/25/23 06:30 Re: Cresson Twilight Author: reelsmooth Awesome look in the 2nd shot. Look forward to more of those.

JG Date: 09/25/23 10:01 Re: Cresson Twilight Author: santafe199 Neat stuff! Each time I see some good drone work my resistance is chipped away just a bit more. But at 68 my instinct tells me I’m too far down the road to try and develop some kind of drone protocol. But I can see a whole new art form already established, and getting better every day… 🤗

If my luddite friend PghMike can do it, so can you! |
