Eastern Railroad Discussion > q about the csx's cv subDate: 03/28/24 05:39 q about the csx's cv sub Author: goneon66 does the csx run coal trains off of the cv sub and onto the kd sub?
if so, does anybody have any symbols and/or orgin/destination of these trains? thanks for any operating info............ 66 Date: 03/29/24 14:19 Re: q about the csx's cv sub Author: doc1057 Coal trains might still come off of the CV and onto the KD heading south. I occasionally see a southbound coal train around Knoxville. For sure these aren't coming from mines on the EK Subdivision, as nothing moves off of this sub at Patio anymore. Traffic on the KD is pretty sparce generally, especially compared to the glory years. I'd venture to say that there isn't more than one coal train a day at most.
