A classic pair of YN2s on CSX M582
Author: jdrtrainwatcher

I was able to get out on this beautiful spring afternoon (Saturday 4/13/24) for a short chase of CSX M582 heading south down the Monroe Subdivision with CSXT 246 & CSXT 104, a classic pair of YN2 AC44CWs for power.
These YN2 AC44s are becoming increasingly rare and will be completely gone before you know it as CSX marches on with their AC44CM rebuild program.
I was very happy to catch one leading in great sunlight, but having a matched pair of them as sole power made it an even better catch.

Very nice set of photos!   Pic #3 is really cool showing the topography. You just never know what kind of gems are in tow on a freight train.
