Eastern Railroad Discussion > Hanging at the Wye hyattsville, MD

Having railfanned alot of places on CSX's Capital Subdivision and with the work being done at the Howard Street Tunnel I decided to explore someplace new today. I set off to check out the Wye in Hyattsville, MD where the Capital Subdivision, Metropolitain Subdivision and the Alexandria Extension all meet (more or less). With my usual luck of not catching anything as of late, I figure it was a nice day to hang out and hope.

Photo 2: W030-13 being lead by CSX 3341 which had "The Spirit of Jim Erwin" on the nose is seen hauling gons and several flats of critters to Benning Yard in Washington DC.
Photo 3: After yarding their train the W030 power heads back to Brunswick Yard as light power.
