The are back open after a devastating fire that nearly destroyed the depot. They have great food at reasonable prices, and you can go stand on the trackside platform and watch NS freights going by at track speed just a few feet away.

The brick depot replaced a wood frame depot many years ago. I remember the days when the Erie-Lackawanna had a depot and yard in Huntington. Today, it is difficult to find any trace of the railroad there. Edit: I see you photographed the depot and courthouse in the first photo! Victor Baird Edited 2 time(s).
