Thanks for sharing. I remember when one could watch trains at Arnold Street and the tower was still in operation. I was there the time the Indians in Canada embargoed the CN main and trains were routed onto the GTW stateside. This was before the Internet. IIRC, with both RRs, we had about 120 trains by Bend in 24 hours! And we still had cabooses.
