SD70MAC leading long hood forward.
Author: scraphauler

CSX G761 arrived Aberdeen NC Sunday with CSXT 3461 (which appeared dead) and CSXT 4718 on the point, elephant style.  Yesterday (Monday) ACWR ran a ballast extra dumping stone through Pinehurst.  After unloading and stashing their train, that power ran lite down to Aberdeen, coupled into rear of G761, and acted as manned helpers to Perdue Farms in Candor NC.  Today the now empty train return to Aberdeen with 4718 leading long hood forward and the 3461 dead in tow on the rear end. Also on rear was the set of ACWR power tagging along for the ride.  No idea if ACWR spun the 4718 around on the wye in Aberdeen for CSX or if it will lead long hood forward down the S Line to Hamlet.

Videos of the empty train, yesterdays loaded train with helpers, and the ballast train can be found on You Tube at the "Past the Office Window" channel.

Does this SD70MAC have an updated radiator?
