Three from the LIRC
Author: srman

The Louisville & Indiana is practically in my backyard here in Southern Indiana giving me opportunities to see their operations. Tuesday morning I heard a job the was heading for Columbus about sixty miles north of me. That's a trip for one shot however the power was their veteran units 3001 and 3002 and the shot that I really wanted was the train crossing the Flatrock river in Columbus. A bonus is that it's still lettered for the founding railroad the Pennsyvania. I managed to get there about thirty minutes before he did. The next shot was yesterday as J12A returned to their Jeffersonville Indiana yard after picking up a few cars from their Dutch yard. Last is the results when you park your locomotive next to a cement factory. Thanks for looking,

Nice coverage. It took me awhile to see the Pennsylvania lettering on the bridge. That is truly old.
