1. The w/b CSXT W053 is led by SD40-3 #4050, rebuilt from SD40-2 #8158, built 9//81 as L&N #8158, to SBD/CSXT #8158, with
2. an Asplundh weed sprayer car spraying along the way at 12:51.
With the temperature hovering around 90°, and Amtrak 30 running over four hours late, I go home, cool off, hydrate and take a nap.
3. When I return at 16:15 BNSF ES44AC #6409 + BNSF ES44DC #7362 go e/b from #3 to #5 Runner and further into the yard.  I don’t know why they are on #3 Runner, nor what crew was using them, perhaps Y101.

4. The w/b CSXT B452 is led by ES44AH #789 +
5. CW44AH #500, Spirit of Grafton, built 5//01, on #2 Main at 16:26.
6. CSXT CM44AC #7213, rebuilt from CW44AC #205 built 5//96, + CW44AC #422, built 7//00, come out of the yard and stop west of EAS #2 Main at 16:44.
At this time MARC 873, CSXT M416, Amtrak 30 and Amtrak 29 are converging on Brunswick.  Why are those two units sitting on #2 Main?

Amtrak 30 departs Harpers Ferry at 16:34, five hours and three minutes late, but is held at Weverton for
7. MARC 873 led by SC-44 #84 arriving at 16:51, right on the advertised.
8. Amtrak 30 is led by NS AC44C6M #4407, rebuilt 1//21 from C44-9W #9242 built 5//98, + P42DC #132 (with smashed engineer’s window), built 12//00, on #1 Main at 17:07, about five hours and 26 minutes late.
Is it CSXT policy that if Amtrak is over five hours late, why bother?
9. Amtrak 29 is led by ALC-42 #347 + P42DC #150, built 3//01, at 17:19, about 13 minutes late.
CSXT #7213 + #422 are still sitting west of EAS #2 Main and CSXT w/b M416 is pulling into the yard at East Brunswick.
