Housatonic River Race
Author: jmhemmer

On Thursday, 8/29, Housatonic's afternoon train NX-13 from North Canaan, CT, to Pittsfield caught me off guard at Glendale, Mass, beside its namesake river.  I jumped out with my iPhone (apologies for quality and stability) and filmed it accelerating out of an apparent slow order.  It appears to be racing its reflection.  About 21 cars, 2 leased GP38s (thanks to pdt), love that roar..

As suggested, here's the entire video, including a bunch of trees and the entire train on the grade crossing.  Plus a bonus comment from a driver.
