Eastern Railroad Discussion > Housatonic River RaceDate: 09/04/24 14:41 Housatonic River Race Author: jmhemmer On Thursday, 8/29, Housatonic's afternoon train NX-13 from North Canaan, CT, to Pittsfield caught me off guard at Glendale, Mass, beside its namesake river. I jumped out with my iPhone (apologies for quality and stability) and filmed it accelerating out of an apparent slow order. It appears to be racing its reflection. About 21 cars, 2 leased GP38s (thanks to pdt), love that roar..
