Last of the RBMN videos that were shot Sept 14 and 15: these were shot in the afternoon on Sunday and feature the RBMN Reading and Pittston trains getting in position to be boarded and to depart.  When I was there, the RDCs just moved to the tail track and the north end of the station tracks, and the engineer swapped ends for the return run to Reading.  However, the Pittston train, after it arrived and unloaded, backed to the south, wyed the entire train, and then moved to the tail track to wait for departure time.  I actually described that backwards - the Pittston train wyed then moved to the tail track first, and the RDCs followed the Pittston train to the tail track.
Clip 1, 2 and 3: The Reading/Jim Thorpe RDCs move from the tail track to its loading platform, which is a little south of the main station.  On Sunday, the RDCs stopped at the station before moving on to its loading platform.  Love the RDC's horn!
Clip 4: A surprise guest, with excellent timing!  While the RDC's were stopped at the station, I heard an unfamiliar whistle in the canyon.  I happened to be standing in the one place in Jim Thorpe (as near as I could tell) where there is a view of NS's Lehigh Line.  While not a big train (uhh, really no "train" at all!) it was great capturing the light SD40s.  And the echo of the horn was really cool.
Clip 5: The Pittston train moves from the tail track back to the station track.  This gives a good look at the train consist, particularly the "King Cole" lounge/observation car.  I added a photo of the KC at the end of the video just to let everyone have a good look at it.
