It is Game 1 of the St Louis Cardinals vs the Texas Rangers at Busch Stadium. You are ready to sit back and enjoy the game but the phone rings at 7:55 pm and off you go to fix a broken rail on a breezy October evening. You get home and find out that your Cardinals won 3-2 but you missed the game because the railroad needed you. It's a 24/7 job and we thank you.
St Louis won the World Series and it was the first World Series to go all 7 games since 2002.
