My decision was to photograph 28X crossing over the former LVRR at Neshanic Station, NJ. The only problem was with all the trees around, it is a challenge to get a good photograph. Fortunately, I was able to get the shot I wanted.
Fast forward one year later and another heritage unit was leading 28X on October 25. This time its leader was the Savannah & Atlanta heritage unit. Once again I opted for the former LVRR Bridge in Neshanic Station and got quite a surprise. Those trees around the bridge were no longer there! A road construction project, possibly a flood wall to prevent River Road from getting flooded out when the river overflows, has taken down all those trees along the wall.
