A short RJ Corman helper chase
Author: EL833

Paid a visit to the Altoona/Cresson area on October 18th/19th. Along with the usual NS photos and a chase of the Everett steamer, RJ Corman ran a grain train from Cresson to Clearfield. The light wasn't great for head end shots of that northbound run, but they did use a pair of SD40-2s as a helper on the south end. Here are three views of my short chase of the helpers...at Cresson, Munster, and just a bit north of Munster.

Those helpers saved the day in two ways ;-)

Any idea where the grain came from,
and where it ended up?

Looks like Corman is getting some new power. Grain goes to Clearfield to the ethanol plant. Do not know where it originates, but likely various locations in midwest.
