Eastern Railroad Discussion > A short RJ Corman helper chaseDate: 10/30/24 14:49 A short RJ Corman helper chase Author: EL833 Paid a visit to the Altoona/Cresson area on October 18th/19th. Along with the usual NS photos and a chase of the Everett steamer, RJ Corman ran a grain train from Cresson to Clearfield. The light wasn't great for head end shots of that northbound run, but they did use a pair of SD40-2s as a helper on the south end. Here are three views of my short chase of the helpers...at Cresson, Munster, and just a bit north of Munster.

and where it ended up? Date: 10/30/24 18:42 Re: A short RJ Corman helper chase Author: MdRailfan Looks like Corman is getting some new power. Grain goes to Clearfield to the ethanol plant. Do not know where it originates, but likely various locations in midwest.
