Thanks.  April 2025 is later than an earlier estimate for reopening Newport, Tennessee, to Asheville, NC, perhaps because of the failure of the bridge over the Pigeon River near Newport.

The company [NS] estimates that the portion of the line running east from Newport through Asheville and out to Grovestone will reopen in April 2025. Assessments of the track between Grovestone and Old Fort are still ongoing, and the company does not know how long that restoration will take.
