A typical Summer day in the Adirondacks / Upstate NY !!

Just wait until winter comes.

I believe this trip was one where they had the Jordan Spreader out.

Brings back  memories of my time on the Adirondack Railway in the late 1970's! Can't say I miss the heavy snow that we dealt with back then! Thanks for posting!

Maybe the RS has been trapped in the snow for 40 years and just emerged?

After all,dead mastodons and saber tooth tiger kittens are showing up in polar regions.
