Couple of snow shots with the drone

The Vincennes, IN area had about 5" today with periods of heavy snow and low visibility. The snow had let up enough in the late afternoon that I would fly the drone and get CSX I128 coming north. The conductor gave a big wave as the drone is pretty easy to spot in low light conditions. Next train to pass before darkness was CSX M501. It was about as low light of a shot that I could take and still have something.

Hello CSX2505,

Photo 2 is interesting ... dark enough to see the lights playing on the railroad. Also, the shutter froze the action in the low light, cool.

Thanks for braving the chill for trains in the snow.

Serously, thanks! the older I get the colder it gets out there in winter. I used to go tent camping in 5F weather. Ha forget thta!
