Trespassers are people on the tracks for no approved reason. Posted from Android Date: 04/11/25 07:12 Re: NS train hits WV pedestrian Author: Lackawanna484 CP8888 Wrote:

The original news article used the term "person".. We had a TrainOrders thread years ago discussing Norfolk Southern's decision to post its right of way along the Port Road in Pennsylvania. NO TRESPASSING, Blocking access to several dozen fishing camps, summer homes, etc. The courts determined that NS did not have that authority, given the 150 years of unchallenged use. NS and the state eventually agreed on several designated crossings, and the state authorized and enforced trespassing rules elsewhere on the line. Exactly & thank you. The railroad tracks are private property. Don't walk on them, along them, and you probably won't get run over and killed. OL & FRA are trying to discourage "predestrians" along the right of way. Date: 04/11/25 16:23 Re: NS train hits WV pedestrian Author: farmer CSX had the same issue at Findlay Ohio on 4-11 at 6:03 AM

I don't get down that way often. Thank you for the clarification. Date: 04/12/25 03:21 Re: NS train hits WV pedestrian Author: KurtBWNews farmer Wrote:
