Author: Forever-Railfan-45 First picture is of the CSX B454 loaded sand coming the grade on the NCS in Akron, Ohio sometime last spring. Number two is of the I008 I believe last November in Berea, Ohio with the CSX heritage locomotives Western Maryland and Baltimore and Ohio. Number three is of the N808 loaded coal passing the former AG&W depot built in 1875 IIRC in Kent, Ohio. This train was from autumn few years back. Forgot that I had taken this...

Author: Forever-Railfan-45 This was one that I thought was too dark but managed to salvage it; the fog kind of added to the atmosphere. Number four is of the Wheeling and Lake Erie 261 heading back to Brittain Yard in Akron, Ohio. I am lucky to live so close to this line. Lastly is the NS 8098 after she had gotten out of the Altoona shops after an overhaul. I remember this day well in March 2023 as the night before we had freezing rain and I had forgotten to completely shut off the wipers; you guessed it the wipers had tried to move but were frozen to the windshield. $740 dollars later...I will try and get out as much as I can before May 06 as I have my third spinal fusion surgery; the thoracic spine this time. Good luck with your surgery. I had some robotic "soft tissue" surgery 3 weeks ago and what a difference of recovery vs. similar surgery 32 tears ago. That was slash and sew with a manly scar and two months to feeling normal. I'm back to normal but warned not to try throwing concrete blocks around just yet. Gonut |
