Nothing a good firewall cannot take care of. Everyone should be using a firewall these days, no matter what type of browsing software is used. I tried it last week and it was gone. Have the NS lawcritters gotten togather with the bunch from CSX. By the way, I ran across a site that was using the CSXT logo with permission.
Len Date: 09/03/03 21:27 Re: Blocking Pop up ads Author: n8icw Best thing to use is Mozilla.
Complete pop up control. I never see one anymore using it. It the best mail reader there is and its completely free. You can also add a Googlebar to it. http://www.mozilla.org I also can no longer get the Prodigy site, I used it a lot. Both are basically the same browser. Netscape is based on Mozilla. They also have tabbed browsing. I press one toolbar button and it brings up 28 tabs with all the web sites I visit daily. Great browsers. |
