The CSX line is the former Conrail Big Four Line. CSX has a double tracked wye in Greenwhich where the Willard Main crosses the ex-Conrail. The Big four in Berea runs parallel to the NS main for a few hundred yards. There are two connector tracks here between the railroads. But they are only used infrequenlty. The rails lines actually cross on the eastside of Cleveland at CP White on the shortline. This is a very bad part of town. The CSX goes to single track, and runs trough a tunnel under the NS.

must be a bit of a bottleneck then for CSX, going to one track.
Berea must be a good spot.

Berea is a fantastic place to watch trains. There is also a great eating establishment in the former depot.

Saw someone post a little earlier that this is a "bad part of town", unless Berea has taken quite a nose dive, it was a great place a few years back.

They were referring to the location of CP White as being unsafe. Berea is a safe place. It's one of the few locations I feel safe at no matter what the time of day.

Ah, CP White...yes not exactly the best place to railfan! Sorry about the mis-read.
