Help Needed for Historical Accuracy ??????

This is new lettering on the side of a Southern boxcar on display in Manassas, VA. It was supposed to be "historically accurate". Is it?

I think this was covered some time ago on this site. As to my memory i believe some of the comments were.

Whoever done it did a shotty job on it.

Dont forget the green dot in the lettering either.

The "before" shot is historically accurate. Why would anyone even think otherwise?
