CSX derailment Riverline!

Saw a couple posts on yahoogroups that CSX train derailed around the tunnel north of nyack. Apparently this involves a chemical spill frmo one tank and ripped up 800 feet of track.

look for detours.

Anybody confirm this

Thank god CSX hasn't derailed HazMat cars on the Trenton Line. As much as I enjoy volunteering, unnecessary HazMat calls are a pain and a danger to all. Greg, sorry for the poor spelling.

If it was an equipment problem rather than a track problem, then we on the Trenton Line just happened to get lucky, cause this train ran up through Philadelphia to North Jersey yesterday. Link to picture here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CSXRiverline/message/6682

Update: turns out it was track related, and it was not hazardous, just a bunch of plastic pellets.
