After the CSX line splits west of Cumbo, which is the low grade and which is the high grade, in relation to the river?

The low-grade heads off towards the river as its path is longer than the other when looking at a map.

If you are looking west from the old W Tower site, the Low Grade is on your right. At the west end of it (Cherry Run), the Lurgan Sub joins the Low Grade before it rejoins the mainline. I just made my first trip over the Low Grade a few weeks ago and from a fan's point of view, there's not much to look at except on both ends. The middle is mostly inaccessable (one or two private grade crossings) and not very photogenic...

Thanks both. I was trying to figure out which signals go where when I mark them on my mapping software.
