NS suffered two derailments in Princeton, IN, this past Saturday. Pictured here are NS 3182 & 3297 at the west end of the yard, with at least two cars on the ground and fouling the main. Although I have no information about the cause, I surmise that the gon split a turnout while traversing crossover over to the main.

Just when you thought things were merely bad, just east of the West Douglas interlocking NS 9237 and a BNSF boxcar went on the ground at the crossover to the yard.

Although I'm certainly not an expert, seems to me to be another case of a split switch.
