RR in the Weather Contest
Author: chessie-2117

Some of the photos posted are spectacular. I'm not winning with these guys, but I'd like to share them with the group. Still some neat stuff, IMHO. Firstup, CSX Q175 waits for permission from SEPTA to go south on the Trenton Line, in a snow, sleet, and rain storm. If I recall, I shot this from the car.

Next, a pretty special engine, CSXT #700, kicks up the snow, moving north.

An old Conrail B23-7 works at the NS Abrams Yard during a brief snow squall, in what now has become an impossible shot, without risking a visit from the NS Police.

A Q173 waits on SEPTA, and while the snow has stopped for now, the CSX engine 7569 shows the effects of the storm well.

Last one to share, and I wish it came out better than it did, but, two old hoppers( Atually, about 1-1/2 in the photo), still in Chessie System, AND C&O paint, pass by Cheltenham on a Q346 during a cold January day.
