Alabama RR affiliated with Gettysburg?

While tracing the Gettysburg RR several months ago, I came across several old CN boxcars in Gardners, PA. The CN worm logo was still plainly visible on most of the cars, but the reporting marks had been repainted as "ALAB". All these cars had solidly rusted wheels, and were spotted at produce distribution warehouse spurs.

Are Gettysburg and Alabama subsidiaries of the same company?
