an odd but good day .

was heading to ottawa il to do some fishing and was headed down rt 6 and found the iais sitting there with a tank train.but no good shot.........oh well, move on

Thanks for posting this and your other photos. Could you tell me where this station is? I'll be heading to Springfield,IL in July,looks like I'll have plenty to see and do.

Features a scale model of Kankakee and its trains as they looked in the 1950’s. A life-size, 1947 Pullman coach has been
restored as a dining and meeting place and may be used for small events. It is also displayed outside of the depot.
