Double stacks must reduce to 15 mph in the tunnel. We can and do meet other trains in there. I was on Q138 and passed Q137 there last year and we actually "kissed" each other. On the normal eastbound track (2 track), there is a switch in the tunnel that leads to the Shenandoah Subdivision. When I crossed this switch, we leaned into the Q137's second unit and hit it. It ripped my sun visor off, swung the mirror into the window which shattered the mirror and broke the window. I reported it to the DS and was told "yeah we know about it"...
