Eastern Railroad Discussion > Belfast & Moosehead Lake acquisition.Date: 07/22/05 12:02 Belfast & Moosehead Lake acquisition. Author: ExceptedTRAK Does anyone have an update on the proposed acquisition of the Belfast & Moosehead Lake railroad in Maine by the startup venture New England Rail. New England Rail incidently, is the same group and/or individual a Mr. Don Adams that has made public statements to the media of starting passenger rail from Portland, Maine via the SLR to Montreal, Que. To date, I've heard nothing but rumors, the latest being that New England Rail has an investor from Switzerland for the Belfast & Moosehead Lake proposed acquisition.
Why would any investor want to get involved with either of these rail projects? Date: 07/22/05 12:08 Re: Belfast & Moosehead Lake acquisition. Author: NormSchultze 1- Play railbarron at 12" = 1 ft.
