Black River & Western freight

I rode the BR&W from Ringoes to Flemington, NJ, with my grandson on Sunday. After we watched GP9 1853 run around the train for the return to Ringoes, a freight train consisting of GP9 752 and three covered hoppers passed the passenger train on the passing siding.

Thanks for posting these pictures. My five year old son enjoyed. We usually catch Black River freights in Three Bridges at their yard/interchange track on the Lehigh line. We go to Liberty Village all the time and have never, once caught a freight.
